Alexium is an environmentally conscious company committed to offering solutions that reduce energy consumption, waste, and overall carbon footprint and minimize material consumption. We are committed to environmental sustainability and have designed our RST process to be environmentally friendly. In addition, by using microwave heating opposed to conventional heating, RST is notably energy efficient. The chemistry used for this process employs “green” solvents and reagents, meaning that they are generally produced from renewable resources and that the chemicals are not hazardous to the environment. Further, the by-products of RST are not hazardous to the environment. All of this works to provide an additional driving force for customers to adopt Alexium’s technology to replace antiquated equipment. The RST process can significantly lower the overall CO₂ footprint and waste emissions. Aside from our process, Alexium also produces products that reduce the environmental impact – for example, fabrics that require no or minimal detergents and coatings that require less water or chemicals to clean.
