joins American security project board of directors

Perth, Australia and Greer, South Carolina: Alexium International Group Limited (“Alexium” “the Company”)(ASX:AJX, OTC QX:AXXIY) announces that the American Security Project (ASP), has appointed Nicholas Clark, CEO of Alexium International, to the ASP Board of Directors.

Based in Washington, D.C., ASP is a non-partisan organization created by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and former Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, to educate the American public and the world about the changing nature of national security in the 21st century.

The ASP is led by a 25-member Board of Directors chaired by former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman; Gary Hart, former U.S. Senator from Colorado, is Chairman Emeritus. Board members include a current congressman, a former senator, an ambassador, a retired general, four retired lieutenant generals, a retired admiral, a retired vice admiral and accomplished individuals from business, law and journalism.
