Rosheen Garnon Appointed Alexium Chair
Perth, Australia and Greer, South Carolina – 29 March 2019 – Alexium International Group Limited (“Alexium,” “the Company”) (ASX: AJX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rosheen Garnon as its new Board Chair. The appointment follows the retirement from the Board of Non-Executive Chair Sue Thomas with effect from 31 March 2019.
Ms Garnon, a former KPMG senior partner, was appointed to the Board in September 2018 and currently chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. Ms Garnon has extensive experience working with and advising C-Suite executives and has significant Board experience. Ms Garnon is a Director of Australian Rail Track Corporation, Member of the Board of Taxation, Director of The Smith Family, Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for Creative Partnerships Australia.
Commenting on her appointment as Alexium Chair, Ms Garnon said: “I would like to thank Sue for her contribution as Chair and a Director of Alexium. Sue has worked tirelessly as Chair over a period where the Board and a new Executive Team have been delivering on a turnaround cornerstone strategy to commercialise our flame retardant and thermal regulation products.
