DelCool™ is engineered around deliquescence — the natural phenomenon in which specific salts absorb ambient moisture and transition into a liquid solution. Built into textiles, foams, and coatings, DelCool™ pulls excess water vapor out of the microclimate around the user and converts that phase change into a measurable, perpetual cooling effect.
How deliquescence drives perpetual cooling
As DelCool™ absorbs moisture, the phase transition consumes energy and removes heat from the surrounding surface. Because the process is driven by humidity rather than a finite thermal buffer, the cooling continues for as long as the body produces heat and moisture — no recharge cycle required.
Active moisture buffering
Beyond cooling, DelCool™ flattens the moisture curve experienced by users and substrates: adsorbing excess water vapor when humidity spikes and releasing it back when conditions dry.
